Commander James Bond CMG RNVR is a character created by the British journalist and novelist Ian Fleming in 1953. He is the protagonist of the James Bond series of novels, films, comics and video games. Fleming wrote twelve Bond novels and two short story collections. His final two books—The Man with the Golden Gun (1965) and Octopussy and The Living Daylights (1966)—were published posthumously.
The character is a Secret Service officer, code number 007, residing in London but active internationally. Bond was a composite character who was based on a number of commandos whom Fleming knew during his service in the Naval Intelligence Division during the Second World War, to whom Fleming added his own style and a number of his own tastes. Bond’s name may have been appropriated from the American ornithologist of the same name, although it is possible that Fleming took the name from a Welsh agent with whom he served, James C. Bond. Bond has a number of consistent character traits which run throughout the books, including an enjoyment of cars, a love of food, drink and sex, and an average intake of sixty custom-made cigarettes a day.
This event comes with a themed Afternoon Tea Service and (1) complimentary glass of Prosecco. (Guests must be 21+ to order an alcoholic beverage.) Non-alcoholic beverages will also be available. Appropriate for 16 and up.

All event tickets are non-refundable. Be sure to click on the correct date and time. If additional dates are offered for an event after you have already registered, we cannot transfer tickets between dates. For children’s teas be sure to identify how many adults and children will be attending. ALL children must be accompanied by an adult. ALL attendees, children and adults, must register (and pay) for the event. Due to limited space, we do not allow non-paying observers, family members, or other non participants in the dining room during the event.
Please notify us of any food allergies 48 hours prior to the event. We will not be able to accommodate any dietary changes the day of the event. If you wish to be seated as a group, please either book all together or when you pay enter the party you wish to sit with in the Order Comment section.
There are no ‘tickets’. Your receipt is your ticket.
